Our Ten Year Anniversary film shoot…No 2!

As part of our 10 year anniversary celebrations, I teamed up once more with the brilliant Haworth Weddings to create another short concept film.

Being Summer the theme of the film is ‘The Spirit of Midsummer’ and we were so fortunate to be able to film at the beautiful Acton Scott Hall which is surrounded by stunning woodland. Alison Acton welcomed us and showed us some of her favourite spots, the large beech tree in the background of this shoot being the perfect location for us. Once again Haworth Weddings worked their magic and came up with a concept for the film which reflects the creativity and inspiration for my designs.

We break through into the magical woodland and capture a moment with the Spirit of Midsummer while she is at play. Inspired by the folk tradition of the Maypole to celebrate Summer, this shoot was a riot of colour, magic and movement! Make-Up artist Mandy embraced the theme and went bold and bright with her make-up palette and the result was just perfection. The head-piece was created by CC Millinery Designs of London and was exactly what I wanted to fit with the theme for this shoot.

These images have been captured by the wonderful Haworth Photography. I designed the dress with Summer in mind, combining the soft pink with delicate ivory laces to create a gown that was light and fun while being incredibly pretty!
