Exclusive behind the scenes look at Our Mary's Secret Garden Collection

We have been working hard on our in-house design label 'Jane&Edward' collection for 2017/18. Each of these gowns has been designed and created here at the boutique and we are (nearly) ready for the collection photoshoot this Friday!

In the interim, we thought we would share some sneak peeks of this new collection before the formal unveiling at the National Wedding Show at Birmingham's NEC at the end of this month.

This years collection combines distinct lace designs with natural forms along with the finest silk fabrics. We have added a splash of colour to most of our dresses this year with blushes and subtle golds but don't worry! We have still used ivory to highlight the colours even more!

Every collection features at least one bias cut design and our Mary's Secret Garden collection does not disappoint...this year we have combined Champagne silk and ivory lace for a statement gown with a twist!

Every one of our gowns is hand crafted at our Bridgnorth boutique and (not to brag) but the attention to detail in every dress that we make here at the boutique is paramount to both myself and George.

This latest collection uses the distinct designs within our chosen laces to accentuate the female form. It usually takes us quite a while to position every pattern piece onto the lace so we make the most of the design or to use particular bits in the lace that we love. This ensures that every seam and lace pattern are matched perfectly. Precision is key!

Our 'Belle of the Ball' gown, pictured below, is no exception to this. We have cut the lace so that design is trailing up. This makes the most of the design at the hem and peters out towards the bodice. This means all the attention is on the beautiful hem and train that is finished with a scalloped edge in the same lace.

We do love our silk covered buttons which are sewn on by hand to ensure they are secure for your wedding day.
